A good week.
I’ll start with last Saturday, when I caught up with old friends for dinner before heading to Shadows nightclub for Back 2 Rave, a night of old rave and club classics. Great to chat and have a bit of a dance, even if it was way past my bedtime!
We all went to the Matildas game on Monday night, along with the rest of Canberra. It was a good time, even though the match was one sided. the Tillies went up 4–1 against Argentina. I would’ve loved to hear the crowd get more into it, but the highlight was definitely the small group singing “Heyman” to the tune of Hey Jude: nah, nah, nah, nah nah nah naaah, HEYMAN!
A solid week of running, with a fun midweek tempo and some epic hill repeats this morning. It was freezing but beautiful. An epic sunrise and some serious elevation gain. Is there a better way to start a Friday?

I’ve also been feeling inspired by a few Craig Mod podcast interviews (on Rich Roll and Tim Ferriss). He’s just a chill guy who does long walks and creates beautiful books, photos and writing. There’s something in his vibe I connect with. He, and others like him, make me want to take more photos, blog more often, and explore creativity in new ways.
All in all, a week that ticked a lot of boxes ✅
Here’s a nice little soul mix to ease you into this King’s birthday long weekend. Lets goo!
