I enjoyed the Imperfects podcasts with Ben Crowe :). I've wanted to look further into it, but there's so much out there to imerse yourself in for growth and learning haha.
Ash Barty talks about working with him during her career and how much he contributed to her mindset.
We had him present at a work annual meeting and he was the best!
It wasn’t until recently though where I felt his advice might come in useful so I’ve revisited a few of the podcasts, the imperfects being one of them.
I think he, and Emma Murray (also on the imperfects), have some really useful advice. It’s funny that both of them both focus on sports performance; so much of it translates to everyday life. I love it 🙏
oh amazing! I think it's great how we get little bits of information that we can then use later. Often you might here something and say well that's great but doesn't apply to me right now, until it does. I think that's why self development is so important, it's like safe guarding your mental health so that when life throws you curve balls you've got resources and strategies to help you through it without disassociating from the reality of what's happening.
I'd love for there to be some sort of self development conference where we can see people like Crowey and others who've done a lot of work in this space, all in one place.
Sometimes I find myself overwhelmed by how much is out there and wanting to take it all in, but we can only take in so much.
